Sundé Hilliard, a native of Aurora, Illinois, discovered at a young age that photography was her passion. Through all of her adolescent endeavors (cheerleading, dance, band, etc.), she was always the one her peers could count on to be holding the camera capturing EVERYTHING. She decided to take her love of taking pictures to the next level as she pursued her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Northern Illinois University. Here she worked for the school newspaper, the Northern Star, as a photographer attending events such as fashion shows and open forums, as well as covering campus news.
Upon graduation from NIU in 2007, she moved to the Atlanta area to continue to fulfill her need to photograph. She began working for a reputable portrait studio and after a year was promoted to studio manager. This satisfied her needs momentarily but she still felt she wanted more. After networking with different people and attending various events around the city, she knew that she was capable of producing more than just in-studio photography. To date, Sundé has worked with music producers and artists, boxers, and fitness coordinators, has gotten a photo included in the online Schmap’s Guide to Atlanta, photographed community events and many families…the list goes on and on!
Sundé has finally found her niche in the photography industry and promises to continue to generate quality images and services to remain loyal to her customers and to her craft. Her personal philosophy is to “never settle for less than your idea of perfection.” Her motivation to live by this reflects her work and her aspiration to be one of the most well connected and well rounded photographers of her time.
