On a beautiful Saturday in April, the Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9 held a bike show at Onyx Nightclub. All different motorcycle clubs came out and showed off their best customized artwork and their riding skills to compete for various trophies and the chance to rule the road. A group of bikers + nightclub scene + free admission and discounted drinks = a great event!!
Keon Black, personal trainer of Way To Work Fitness was great to work with! He brings new light to your workout and exercises not only your body, but your spirit as well. His personal quote on Twitter (@kbtainernactor) is that, “God hasn’t given up on you. So while He is workin’ on your heart, let me work on your body. Bless.” Let him show you the WAY TO WORK!!
Featuring work by Drexina Nelson and Derek Blanks. I LOVE IT!… “This year is about YOUR upward climb. Your talent can get you there but your drive, attitude, and perspective will keep you there. The way you view things and your attitude can be way more important than your talent! #2012″ — Drexina Nelson
Drexina, I’m comin’ for you girl!! LOL!!
Valentine’s Day in Atlanta will never be the same! You would think that from this Battle of the Sexes hula hoop challenge that the men actually won this one…think again!
This was by far the most fun photoshoot I’ve ever done! The day started at 3AM (with homemade breakfast) in order to catch the sunrise and it was full speed ahead from there. The idea came from the phrase “Rise and Grind” which means that as soon as day breaks, you have to get busy to perfect your craft. We went to a lot of different venues and shot ALL DAY! My team is only as strong as its weakest link and it’s obvious none of us show any weaknesses. This is what spawns from planning and being able to call on your team and being able to put a great plan in motion.
This is one of my favorite pictures that I’ve taken just because I think this encompasses everything we do in life, whether it’s business related, relationships, or just everyday thought processes. There’s no way anything can get accomplished without one of these aspects. They work hand in hand…
Zumba is the new dance fitness exercise that is sweeping the nation! In Conyers, GA, Jamena Brown took her class to the next level by having a Zumbathon where, for about 2 hours, women of all ages came to work it out, get fit, and have fun! By taking styles from 4 different instructors, the ladies were able to utilize different muscles and able to experience other flavors of Zumba. Not only was the Zumbathon a success but proceeds from the event were in support of breast cancer awareness. Just another noble cause to show that there are still people in the world that want to make a difference in the lives of others. Kudos to you Miss Jamena!
PlayDate was held on October 15 at the Clarion Hotel in Marietta. What is PlayDate you ask? It’s basically a monthly Saturday night out where adults can have fun playing the games they enjoyed as children, for example, Connect Four, Twister, Rock’ Em Sock’ Em Robots, and more! There are also signature games with a twist which make them more amusing. These include Musical Chairs, Red Light Green Light, Simon Says, and even a battle of the sexes hula hoop contest! Featuring DJ M$ney and Big Boyz Music on the “1s and 2s”, this PlayDate had the Clarion up all night!
